Goals for Screening and Participant Assessment
The program aims to complete 250 screenings by the conclusion of the grant period, focusing efforts on achieving a comprehensive understanding of participants’ needs. While assessments will be conducted across all age groups, priority is placed on individuals between the ages of 25 and 45, as this group represents a significant portion of primary DUI offenders.
Efforts are also being directed toward ensuring equitable testing across sexes, though it is anticipated that approximately 65% of participants will be male and 35% female, reflecting the typical distribution observed among DUI offenders.
These objectives are aligned with the program’s broader mission to identify critical risk factors and connect participants to appropriate interventions, fostering safer communities and reducing recidivism rates.
